Mark Moore is a colorectal cancer survivor (Stage 1) and community advocate who has partnered with Fight CRC since 2022 to raise awareness around early detection and screening. Based in Durham, NC, he brings both a personal stake and a builder’s mindset to advocacy work, drawing on his background as an entrepreneur and community organizer across healthcare, media, and education.
Mark is Co-Founder and President of Ole Creek Health and Wellness Inc, a North Carolina certified home care agency serving the Triangle region. Work that has deepened his understanding of the healthcare system from both the provider and patient sides. He also leads Ole Creek Holdings, a portfolio of ventures including Ole Creek Media Group (Formerly HeadzUp Media), and Venture52.
Before his entrepreneurial career, Mark spent over 30 years in transportation and logistics, including with YRC freight (Roadway Express). A Business Management and Marketing major with an academic background from both Saint Augustine’s University and North Carolina Central University.
As a survivor and advocate, Mark is especially passionate about reaching communities where colorectal cancer awareness and screening access remain low, and about using his platforms in healthcare, media, and mentorship to amplify that message.
