I fight because I know what it feels like to be unheard in the doctor’s office, dismissed with prescriptions and advice that only made things worse, and left searching for real answers. After years of misdiagnosis I was finally diagnosed with an IBD, and I’ve seen firsthand how critical early detection and education are. At the same time, I’ve watched too many loved ones battle cancers that could have been prevented with better awareness and timely care. I fight because colorectal cancer is one of the most preventable cancers—and I believe in a future where prevention, education, and early action mean fewer families have to endure this disease. I fight for a world where we beat cancer before the battles even begin.
