Call-on Congress
The nation’s largest colorectal cancer advocacy event. For over 20 years, advocates from all 50 states have traveled to Washington to sit down directly with Congress and push for life-saving policy.

United in Blue
Fight CRC’s signature installation: more than 27,000 blue flags on the National Mall, each one representing a young adult projected to be diagnosed with colorectal cancer by 2030. It’s one of the most visible colorectal cancer awareness moments in the country.

Wall of Champions

Global Early Onset CRC Think Tank
Researchers, clinicians, and advocates from around the world convene to turn two years of workgroup findings into policy and aligned global action against early-onset colorectal cancer. The inaugural 2025 gathering in Barcelona brought together 70+ experts from 18 countries.

What is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month?
Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month is recognized every March to raise awareness of colorectal cancer, encourage screening, and support patients, survivors, caregivers, and families affected by the disease.
What is Call-on Congress?
Call-on Congress is Fight Colorectal Cancer’s annual advocacy event that brings patients, survivors, caregivers, loved ones, and supporters together in Washington, D.C., to advocate for policies that improve colorectal cancer prevention, research, treatment, and access to care. This year Call-on Congress will be hosted from February 28- March 2.
What is United in Blue?
United in Blue is Fight CRC’s annual flag installation on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. It places more than 27,000 blue flags, each representing a young adult projected to be diagnosed with colorectal cancer by 2030, to raise awareness of the disease’s rise among people under 50.
Can I take part in United in Blue without traveling to D.C.?
Yes. Fight CRC offers an at-home flag kit so individuals, clinics, businesses, and community organizations can create their own local flag installation and join the movement from anywhere. You can also visit our action center to take action today!
What is the Wall of Champions?
The Wall of Champions is Fight CRC’s tribute space, displayed alongside the United in Blue installation and online, where families and caregivers can honor or memorialize loved ones affected by colorectal cancer through a donation that supports Fight CRC’s research programs.
What is the Global Early Onset Colorectal Cancer Think Tank?
The GEOCRC Think Tank is an international gathering of researchers, clinicians, and advocates convened by Fight CRC to turn research into policy on early-onset colorectal cancer. The inaugural 2025 meeting in Barcelona brought together more than 70 experts from 18 countries; the next convening is set for February 28 to March 1, 2027.
Why is colorectal cancer a growing concern for young adults?
Colorectal cancer rates are rising fastest among younger adults. By 2030, more than 27,000 people ages 20 to 49 are projected to be diagnosed, which is why United in Blue and Fight CRC’s awareness efforts focus heavily on early-onset cases.
