Kasia Orzechowska is a stage IV colon cancer survivor and passionate patient advocate dedicated to improving outcomes for those affected by colorectal cancer. Since her diagnosis at age 40, she has transformed her personal journey into a mission of advocacy, education, and support. 
 
As a volunteer with Fight Colorectal Cancer, Kasia has worked to advance research funding, increase awareness of colorectal cancer, and empower patients and caregivers to become advocates for change. She leads advocacy efforts in Florida, mentors new advocates, and collaborates with healthcare professionals, researchers, and policymakers to improve access to care and accelerate progress in colorectal cancer research.
