Tim McDonald, survivor, was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer with mets to liver in November 2020. He was told that he had three years to live and would be on chemo for life. Tim responded well to aggressive chemo, learned about and then pursued a liver transplant. Tim had a colon resection, founded Share My Liver while searching for a donor, and received his liver transplant in May 2023. Tim is currently turning Share My Liver into a nonprofit.
