Age at Diagnosis: 34
I experienced symptoms like bloating, weight loss, fatigue, and stomach pain. A day before my wedding, I was rushed to the hospital with severe pain, vomiting, and diarrhea.
After a week of tests, I was diagnosed with stage 3C colon cancer, later upgraded to stage IV due to metastasis in my liver.
My treatment plan began with 12 rounds of chemotherapy, but after biomarker/genetic testing and learning I was MSI-H, I switched to Keytruda immunotherapy. By November 2021, I was declared NED (No Evidence of Disease) and continued treatment for three years. As of December 2024, I’m out of treatment.
Despite the struggles, I’m grateful to be alive and living my dream, marrying the love of my life.
