Rectal - Stage III |
Age at Diagnosis: 50
Hi, my name is Michelle Miller Lightle I am 50 years old. I was diagnosed with Stage 3T Colorectal Cancer on May 15th, 2025. It was devastating but I decided right there in then I am not going to let this get me! I’ll be damned! I did the cologuard test and it came back abnormal and my blood test levels were a little questionable, so I went for my colonoscopy and that’s when they found it. I told my team of doctors I wanted the most aggressive treatment I have a 13-year-old daughter and husband. So, I have completed 30 radiation/Chemo pill treatments and 6/8 Chemotherapy. I will finish Chemo and have surgery. You have to keep a positive mindset! I still go to work when I’m feeling like it and keep our life as normal as possible. We are all warriors, and we will win the war! 💙💪🏻💙
