Hi my name is Michelle Miller Lightle I am 50 years old. I was diagnosed with Stage 3T Colorectal Cancer on May 15th 2025. It was devastating but I decided right there in then I am not going to let this get me! I’ll be damned! I did the cologuard test and it came back abnormal and my blood test levels were a little questionable so I went for my colonoscopy and that’s when they found it. . I told my team of doctors I wanted the most aggressive treatment I have a 13 year old daughter and husband. So I have completed 30 radiation/Chemo pill treatments and 6/8 Chemotherapy. I will finish Chemo and have surgery. You have to keep a positive mindset! I still go to work when I’m feeling like it and keep our life as normal as possible. We are all warriors and we will win the war!
