Rectal
Age at Diagnosis: 39
"I felt alone when I was diagnosed even though I had a great support system, but I promise YOU ARE NOT alone. Stay away from website pages that post nothing but negative stories."
I was diagnosed at age 39 with rectal cancer. I have NO family history of it. I was initially stage II until after surgery. Then I was stage III. It then spread to my liver making me stage IV. It then spread to my lung twice. I had accepted that I was like a used car being parted out. I couldn’t go 18 months without cancer returning. My last surgery was five years ago. I honestly thought I’d never see the day, but here I am five years cancer free.
