"Hold to faith. Protect family. Act on symptoms early. Advocate for YOU"
I’m a 32-year-old father of three recently diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer. What began as abdominal pain and digestive changes led to testing that revealed advanced disease, and surgery was paused after spread was discovered. I’ve since started treatment and am learning how my body responds. I’ve recently lost my brother, mother, grandmother, and father to cancer, and now my children are watching me fight. My work hours have dropped to zero during treatment. I’m sharing my story to raise awareness that colorectal cancer is rising in young adults and symptoms should never be ignored.
