More Memory-making Time. When my mom—our family’s primary breadwinner—was diagnosed with Stage II breast cancer, I was only five years old. Our household, grounded in both hard sciences and faith, suddenly felt split between hope and fear. The strongest woman I know never let us see her pain, but as a child, all I wanted was for her to be here for the milestones, the everyday joys, and the chance to make lasting memories. That experience shaped everything for me. It planted in me a deep drive to ensure others have more time—time for laughter, milestones, and moments with those they love. It led me to a career in public health, where I could study population health and bring lived experience into the work. My personal story fuels my energy, informs my perspective, and keeps my vision aligned with a mission centered on people, families, and memory-making time.
