Executive Vice President, Chief Technology, Digital and Corporate Strategy Officer - Tractor Supply Company

Rob joined Fight CRC as an advocate for his wife, Marie. Marie has stage IV colon cancer and is currently going through active treatment, including clinical trials.  The cancer diagnosis has changed our lives, in the obvious ways, such as treatment, life adjustments, accepting help, etc., but also in unexpected ways.  We noticed quickly through time spent at the hospital(s) how many new relationships enter your life, and how many people have this struggle in addition to other family and financial struggles.  We immediately wanted to make a difference in people’s lives.

Rob and Marie have 4 children and live in the Nashville, TN area. When Marie was diagnosed, it was important that cancer didn’t become the primary focus of their family, which caused a shift in how the family pulled together to fight the disease. Still, it placed a greater emphasis on building memories, which drove them to create the family name of MillsMighty6.  Our perspective on life has changed for the better, and our passion to get involved has skyrocketed.  We want to find ways to help in every area possible, with a focus on families.

Rob is an advocate to drive awareness, early detection, a cure through investigational drugs and improved mental heath support for the patients and families especially of young families.  Cancer changes your life, whether stage I or stage IV.  Rob wants to find ways to help people through that change and make the process easier wherever possible.

Rob is executive for a large public organization called Tractor Supply Company and holds several non-profit, private and public board roles.

"As a husband and caregiver, my journey with colon cancer began when my wife was diagnosed a few years ago. Since then, I’ve become deeply passionate about supporting patients and families facing the same fight. I became involved with FightCRC because their mission — fighting for more time — is deeply personal. For us, it’s about giving my wife the chance to celebrate more birthdays with our kids, to see them graduate, and to create lasting memories through family moments and milestones. The work FightCRC does every day is about giving patients, their loved ones, and their families the most precious gift — more time together. Together, we will fight for more time."
