Shannon Ryan Davis, RN, BSN, MSN has spent over two and a half decades in nursing. She started her career as a floor nurse on a Medical-Surgical unit, moved to a management role for an Emergency Department, became a faculty member for her alma mater to teach in their Bachelor’s of Nursing program, and eventually transitioning into Nursing Administration serving in a variety of leadership roles.

Shannon holds a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from St. John's College of Nursing in Springfield, Illinois and a Masters in Nursing Education from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, Illinois.

Shannon is a 25 year colon cancer survivor.  She is the wife of Rodney Davis and proud mom of three successful young adults, Toryn, Griffin, and Clark.

"As someone who was diagnosed with colon cancer at the age of 26 I understand what a true blessing it was to have found my tumor, been treated and come out on the other side. It would have been just as easy for my diagnosis to have been missed and to not be here. I share my story and passion for CRC's mission because I want people to listen to their bodies, get the care they deserve and know they are not alone in this fight."
