"Being diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer in 2009 at age 48, and having my sister diagnosed  with stage III colon cancer, has ultimately led to my passion of raising awareness, fundraising for research and educating the public about this cancer that is preventable, treatable and beatable,” said Griege. “I am excited to serve on the board of Fight Colorectal Cancer and help further the vision of victory over colon and rectal cancers."

Greene was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer in 2013 and brings years of experience in strategic wealth management and financial planning to the Fight Colorectal Cancer board of directors. He has been instrumental in introducing the annual One Million Strong Benefit to the Nashville community and is looking forward to offering his perspective as a survivor and seasoned professional to the organization. Greene said:
