FIGHT COLORECTAL CANCER JOINS FORCES WITH MEDOCITY TO BRIDGE CANCER CARE GAP BETWEEN CLINIC AND PATIENT’S HOME Innovative partnership brings a new level of care to colorectal cancer patients and caregivers Alexandria, VA – (June 17, 2015) – Fight Colorectal Cancer (Fight CRC) has partnered with Medocity, Inc, a leading virtual patient care solutions company, to support patients and survivors in a new innovative way. Starting in July 2015, Fight Colorectal Cancer will provide patients free access to an online platform designed to help manage cancer care outside of the clinic. As part of the partnership, Fight CRC will provide patient friendly blogs, free downloads, videos and more to the Medocity iCancerHealth platform. The collaboration will accelerate access and management of educational resources for colorectal cancer patients across the country. Access to the platform will be available under the resources section of the FightCRC.org website. Colorectal cancer impacts 1 in 20 individuals and is the second-leading cause of cancer deaths among men and women in the U.S. As part of the organization’s mission, Fight CRC provides patients with reliable, credible and trustworthy resources to aid in the fight against colorectal cancer.
