Research Advocates (RATS) Members of our Research Advocacy Training & Support group (RATS) volunteer their time as patient advocates. This group learns the science of research and then represents patients at medical conferences, seminars and more. Grassroots Action Committee The Grassroots Action Committee (GAC) helps sets the pace by offering insights into our legislative priorities, engaging the grassroots advocates and planning our signature event Call-on Congress. Medical Advisory Board Our MAB consists of leading healthcare practitioners who work in colorectal cancer and volunteer their time to ensure our patient information is accurate and our patient education materials address patient needs. Congressional Committee Our Congressional Committee provides guidance and staff support for better policies to address screening, awareness, regulatory and research issues related to prevention and treatment of colorectal cancer. The honorary members also foster a greater recognition, support and coordination amongst policy makers and advocacy efforts and lend their voices to advance outreach efforts.
