My dad, Alex, was diagnosed with colon cancer in April 2024. He was only 36, and I was 5 years old. What started as (what he thought) was a gym injury to his back, quickly turned into doctor visits, treatments, and a fight our whole family faced together. Watching him go through it was hard, but he stayed strong for me. In April 2025, we lost him. He was only 37. Losing my dad so young changed my life forever. It’s why I started my platform, to spread awareness and help other families have more time together. Colon cancer doesn’t just affect one person.. it affects families. Early detection can save lives and give kids more time with the people they love.
