There are over one million colorectal cancer survivors in the U.S. Although it’s a common cancer, it’s also a preventable cancer. Anyone age 50 or older, those experiencing symptoms of colon cancer or individuals with a family history of colon or rectal cancer need to consult with a medical professional about colon screening.
