Family & Friends Stage IV Colon Cancer California
Back to Champion Stories

Story: “My beloved sister, Juanita Mary Brown, was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer at the age of 45. She fought it for two and a half years with nothing but strength and grace, but received her angel wings on August 7, 2018.

I wrote this song in collaboration with Mark Huls. This lyric video was created as a colon cancer campaign, to share her journey, her story through music, but most importantly, to bring awareness to colon cancer. Awareness saves lives.”

Advice: “Listen to your intuition when things don't seem right and ask A LOT of questions.”
