Daniel Bloomgarden Vice Chair Daniel is a stage III colon cancer survivor. He was diagnosed after a routine colonoscopy at the age of 40 years with no obvious symptoms of the disease. Because his grandfather had colon cancer, Daniel’s Gastroenterologist said he should start earlier than the recommended age at 50. A decision that likely saved his life. Daniel is an advocate of early screening, supporting research, and helping families who have to endure this battle. He was a FightCRC ambassador which drove him to become even more involved with the organization. Daniel works at JP Morgan as Managing Director and Portfolio Manager/Senior Analyst for Growth Equities. He invests in growth companies in the small to mid-size capitalization range. He has been an investor for over 18 years. Daniel holds a MBA degree from University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and an undergrad degree from University at Albany. Most importantly, he is a father of two young children, a puppy and husband to an amazing and supportive wife.
