Lower the Screening Age to 45 in Your State!

Screening saves lives. Sign the petition to show your support for lowering the CRC screening age to 45 in your state! Adding your name will show your policymakers just how important CRC screening is to the people of your state.

The data is in: new cases of colorectal cancer (CRC) in people under 50 have been on the rise since the mid-1980s. In response to this trend, the American Cancer Society, updated their CRC screening guidelines to recommend that people at average risk begin screening at 45 instead of 50. Fight CRC has been working at the state level to ensure health plans cover screening beginning at 45. A few states have taken action, but there is more work to be done!
