Patients & Survivors Stage II Rectal Cancer Pennsylvania
Back to Champion Stories

Story:  "I thought I had hemorrhoids because I was bleeding a lot. I went to the ER, and the hospital did a colonoscopy and CT scan. That is when they found stage II rectal cancer. I went through chemo, radiation, and surgery, and then more chemo afterwards. This is the short version of my story."

"Stay positive and have faith. Get second opinions. Do not rely on one doctor."

Advice: "Do it do not be afraid to get a colonoscopy. It is better to be safe than sorry."
