Patients & Survivors Stage III Colon Cancer Mississippi
Back to Champion Stories

Story: “On July 3, 2020 at the age of 36 I was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer. I had no prior symptoms, but suddenly became very sick. After a few ER visits, I found out. On July 4, 2020, I had emergency surgery to remove an 8cm mass that sat directly on my rectum.

My father lost his battle to this same illness on March 11, 2014. I am currently taking chemotherapy and I have two more treatments. It's been a struggle, however I will not give up. I will win and I will survive.”

Advice: “Those that are going through this, please remain encouraged. You will win and WE WILL SURVIVE.”
