A Glimpse of the Past Over two decades ago, The Colon Club began its legacy with an annual photo shoot hosted first in the scenic Lake George, N.Y., and later, amidst the serenity of Five Star Retreat near Nashville, Tennessee. What started as a gathering soon took on a deeper significance, and the “Colon Camp” was born. It evolved into a haven for survivors and caregivers, all uniting under the profound experience of confronting colorectal cancer at an unexpectedly young age. This evolution retains the soul and spirit of the original Colon Camp while focusing on the healing, bonding, and strength that come from shared experiences.
