March 9 — United in Blue Volunteer Day (optional)

Help transform the National Mall into a powerful symbol of solidarity and hope against colorectal cancer. Your efforts will raise awareness, inspire action, and show the world we stand united in this fight.

*If you do not participate in the volunteer day, you should plan to arrive in DC the evening of March 9th as Call-on Congress activities will start the morning of March 10th!

March 10 — Call-on Congress Expo and Training

Connect with fellow advocates and gain the skills needed to effectively engage with your members of Congress. Get ready to learn, network, and prepare to make a powerful impact on Capitol Hill the following day.

March 11 — Rally, Hill Day, and Celebration Dinner

Get your walking shoes ready! Kick off the day with a powerful Rally at United in Blue, then head to Capitol Hill to meet with your elected officials’ offices and advocate for colorectal cancer policy change. We’ll cap off the night with a celebration dinner and birthday party to honor two decades of relentless advocacy and impact at Fight CRC! 

*We’ll be hosting a celebration dinner the night of March 11th, so if you’d like to attend, be sure to plan your departure for March 12th!

Call-on Congress will be held at Hilton Arlington National Landing, located at 2399 Richmond Highway, Arlington, Virginia, 22202, USA. For those traveling from out of town, we have partnered with this hotel to offer discounted rates. Follow the link below for more details and plan your trip accordingly.  

Call-On Congress Scholarship Program

When you attend Call-on Congress, you have the chance to share your story and engage with elected officials on Capitol Hill. This event is a powerful opportunity to advocate for increased funding for colorectal cancer screening and research programs. To make participation accessible for everyone, we offer scholarships that help cover the costs of attending Call-on Congress. These scholarships ensure that all voices – regardless of financial circumstances – can be part of the movement for policy change.

Travel Scholarship: Providing travel assistance to enable advocates to participate in Call-on Congress held in Washington, DC.

Coverage:
Registration fee
$500 travel support

Generation Scholarship: Recognizing and supporting families (2 or more) who come together to engage in CRC advocacy efforts.

Coverage:
Registration fees for all family members
$300 for travel support per family
Hotel room for family (up to 4 nights)

Please fill out the form below to apply for a scholarship. Call-on Congress scholarship applications are available through October 1, 2024–November 29, 2024. Applicants will be notified no later than December 15, 2024.
