Brian was diagnosed in 2011 with stage I colon cancer, just after his 30th birthday. A five-hour surgery to remove his tumor saved his life, and he made a commitment to pay his survivorship forward through advocacy and awareness. He co-founded the Climb in 2016 at Long Peaks Hike and spent time as Fight CRC’s Climb and Photography Manager. Still committed to an active lifestyle, Brian is now Membership and Marketing Director at Maine Outdoor Brands.
