Chad co-founded Climb for a Cure in 2016 at Long Peaks Hike, CO. His wife, Sheila, was diagnosed with stage IIIc colorectal cancer in 2012 and they have been advocating and fundraising together ever since. Chad loves getting creative and thinking outside the box, which is what led him to walk 2,800 miles across America to raise awareness in 2018, climb Mt. Kilimanjaro in 2022, and kayak the Mississippi River from Minnesota down to New Orleans over the span of a month and a half in 2023.
