Emily graduated from the College of Charleston in 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, as well as a certificate of completion from the Honors College. She began working for Fight CRC the week after graduation as a Program Coordinator, and went on to serve as the Advocacy Manager until 2017.

After briefly leaving Fight CRC to focus on her growing family, Emily joined our team in 2019 as the Senior Communications Manager, leading our efforts to amplify the Fight CRC voice and ensure the success of our outreach initiatives. She manages all website development and email marketing campaigns.

Emily currently resides in San Diego, CA with her husband, David; their sons, Luke and Jack; and their "double doodle" (labradoodle x goldendoodle), Honey.
