Stephen joined Fight CRC as an Office Manager/Human Resources Coordinator contractor in January 2024. Within three weeks, he knew he had found his new home and pursued a full-time position on the team.

Fight CRC’s mission of advocacy ignited Stephen’s latent passion to serve and a fire to represent the voices silenced by colorectal cancer emerged. His role of advocacy occurs behind the scenes supporting the HR needs of the staff and our community as they drive the mission of Fight CRC forward.

Prior to his work at Fight CRC, Stephen served over two decades in the U.S. Army, receiving his master’s in Management along the way. Since then, he has retired, started and ran a hobby game store supporting his local community, and worked as a paraprofessional in a local community elementary school.

In his free time, Stephen still enjoys board gaming, bowling, pizza, and any time spent with his wife Stacey and their daughter Izabella.

Stephen currently lives in Clever, Missouri, and serves Fight CRC in the Springfield, Missouri, headquarters.
