Patient Education and Research Advocacy Intern

Carli joined the Fight CRC team in May 2023 as a Patient Education and Research Advocacy Intern. She received her bachelor of science in biology from Lycoming College in 2019 with a minor in chemistry and an emphasis on cell and molecular biology. She is currently a biomedical sciences PhD candidate at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA. As a graduate research assistant, she studies the molecular signaling pathways involved in colorectal cancer.

At Fight CRC, she is able to combine her love for scientific research and her passion for patient education by making scientific research accessible to the community and advocating for colorectal cancer research.
