Carole Motycka

Carole joined Fight CRC as the Patient Education Program Manager in 2023 and has also served as an Ambassador and a Call-On-Congress mentor. 

Carole is a stage IV colorectal cancer survivor and living donor liver transplant survivor, and was the care partner to her late husband Mike Mancini. She currently resides in Connecticut with her dog Indy. Carole is a free spirit and often goes where the wind takes her, she also makes a darn good Buckeye bake!

Additionally, Carole served as an ambassador for the Global Colon Cancer Associations 2021-2022 hereditary/biomarker program; on patient advisory panels for both Pfizer and Bayer; as a member of the Pfizer Early-Onset Colorectal Cancer patient advisory council; and on the Pfizer Cachexia Advisory council. She is also a member of the Edward J. DeBartolo Young-Onset Colorectal cancer patient advisory board at The Cleveland Clinic.

Her specialties are connecting and advocating on behalf of current patients for equity in access to opportunities, education, and screening. She has strong connections in patient advocacy and continues to build relationships to create better outcomes for those who are diagnosed, especially those diagnosed with early-age onset colorectal cancer.
