About Accokeek Climb

National Colonial Farm Loop is a 3 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Accokeek, Maryland that features a river and is good for all skill levels.

Starting in the colonial farm area, the trail starts at a memorial, then goes along the river, weaving in between buildings. Breaking free of the farm buildings takes you past cow pastures, chestnut fields, and a steeper hike with an overlook. Entering the Pumpkin ash trail, walk along the water's edge of the Potomac River, then back along the boardwalk trail meeting up with the picnic and fishing pier area. A great trail with many diverse sections, and unique views.

We Climb for a Cure exploring new terrain for life-changing research. Each mountain we climb — every road we walk down — elevates the standard by raising funds for research in the fight against colorectal cancer.

Our fundraising goal for 2022 Climb for a Cure is $250,000 to support our Path to a Cure for colorectal cancer, as we work to empower and inform patients while driving policy change and breakthrough research.
