Colonoscopies save lives - it did for me! I had no symptoms and woke up from what I thought was going to be an all-clear diagnosis only to find out that I had cancer. Thankfully, my surgeon and the doctors and nurses at the KU Cancer Center here in Kansas City took great care of me and saved my life. I also couldn't have made it without my fabulous caregiver husband, James. We had only been married for one year at my diagnosis and my cancer took a terrible toll on him too. We are both healed now and loving life once again!
