Carly Oppie is my sister. At 43, in October of 2023, she was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. We do not have a family history of colon cancer. She was fortunate to have the mass removed and is currently going through curative chemotherapy. She’s a rockstar, she has two beautiful daughters, 10 and 8, and an awesome husband as well as all of her extended family who are cheering her along the sidelines. She wants to encourage everyone to get their screenings starting at 45 and don’t ignore symptoms. If you think something is off, go and see your health care provider, this is a PREVENTABLE, cancer!!
