What One Million Strong Means to Karlee

I hate cancer, honestly, especially colorectal cancer. It took my best friend and dad away from me. If there's anything I can do to get us one step closer to a cure, I'm in. 

Karlee's Advice

Some advice I would have for other caretakers/family members would be to try to be as empathetic and understanding as possible. Some days are really not so great for cancer patients, and we all have bad days. Lending a shoulder to lean on, an ear to simply just listen, and a hand to hold are all so important.
