Certain kinds of cancer treatments (Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor [EGFR]-inhibitors) can cause skin rash and other skin changes for colorectal cancer patients. Skin rash, itching and cracking, fingernail and toenail irritation, dry skin, and sensitivity to the sun are common side effects.
