Family & Friends Stage III Colon Cancer California
Back to Champion Stories

Story: "My son, Alex, was diagnosed in 2016 at 17 year old. He was having gastrointestinal problems for a few years. The doctor couldn’t understand. I finally took Alex to the ER where they did an ultrasound that was followed up with colonoscopy. Doctors found a tumor. Alex was stage IIIc. Alex's battle was very painful. After 11 rounds of chemo, Alex now rests without pain. Alex died August 14, 2019."

Advice: "Stay positive. Try to enjoy everything you can."
