Call-on Congress is a three-day event where colon and rectal cancer survivors, caregivers and loved ones from all over the U.S. unite to make their voices heard in Washington, D.C.
Capitol Hill is busier than ever and as members of Congress continue to work on healthcare policy, it is critical that they hear from the people those policies would impact. As representatives of the colorectal cancer community, we must educate and empower our elected officials to raise their voices in the fight against colorectal cancer.
Meeting with your member of Congress in person to share your story is one of the most compelling and effective ways to do that. Call-on Congress is a great opportunity to build a relationship with your representatives so that the next time they vote on policies impacting colorectal cancer patients, they think of YOU.
Your story is a powerful tool your lawmaker can use to drive meaningful change, but first, you have to share it with them!
