Family & Friends Stage III Colon Cancer Illinois
Back to Champion Stories

Story: "My daughter was only 20 years old when she was diagnosed. She was a sophomore in college. By the time anyone took her seriously she was in late stage III. She had told me she thought she had a severe case of the flu, but her symptoms kept getting worse. She did research online and came to the conclusion that she had cancer, but she was afraid to look into it."

Advice: "Don't let fear keep you away from looking into the situation further. Be persistent. Catch symptoms early."
